Position: Senior Software Engineer - Web UI Developer

Workplace: Remote (Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Romania, Israel and Moldova)

Employment Type: Contract

Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer – Web UI Developer to join our innovative team at Infrascale. In this role, you will focus on designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality user interfaces for web applications, ensuring exceptional performance and responsiveness. As a key contributor, you will play a pivotal role in architecting and implementing cutting-edge solutions that align with our business goals. This position requires a deep understanding of UI and web technologies, with a passion for creating intuitive and seamless user experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Software Development: Develop high-quality software solutions, adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• System Design: Participate in the design and architecture discussions, providing insights and suggestions for scalable and efficient system design.
• Feature Implementation: Implement new features and functionalities, ensuring they meet the requirements and are delivered within the specified timelines.
• Troubleshooting: Investigate and troubleshoot issues reported in production environments, providing timely resolutions to minimize downtime.
• Code Review: Conduct and participate in code reviews, offering constructive feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver comprehensive solutions.
• Documentation: Document code, processes, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintain system integrity.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and proactively suggest improvements to enhance system performance and efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience:
• 3-5 years of professional experience, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• 3+ years of work experience with JavaScript, jQuery
• 3+ years of work experience with React
• Web Technologies: Experience with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and the React framework.
• Version Control: Proficiency with version control systems, preferably Git and Mercurial, experience with branching strategies.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.
• Agile & DevOps: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices

Preferred Qualifications:

• Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Travis CI is a plus.
• Testing: Familiarity with front-end testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library) is a plus.
