Project Manager

FPG are recruiting for a Telecoms Project Manager - 4G/5G Core Deployment to join our customer project. We seek an experienced telecoms professional with skills and capabilities in managing complex and challenging customer relationships.

This is a 3 month extendable contract (at least 6 month project at present but could well be extended further) and we are looking for someone with experience in the domain of 5G Core network deployment/upgrade projects.

This role is fully remote based, but with occasional travel to meet with the customer. For this reason only candidates who hold Israeli passport can be considered at this time due to restrictions on entry VISA for citizens outside this country.

Job Description:

As a Telecoms Project Manager specializing in 4G/5G Core deployment, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of critical 5G network projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and customer to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Your expertise will be crucial in navigating the complexities of 4G/5G technology and ensuring the successful deployment of our cutting-edge solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end 4G/5G Core deployment projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring issues are resolved promptly.
• Communicate project status, updates, and deliverables to stakeholders and senior management.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance project team environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Project Management, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within the telecommunications industry.
• Proven experience in managing 4G/5G Core deployment projects.
• Strong understanding of 4G/5G architecture, protocols, and technologies.
• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to create and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is a plus.
