Job Title: Experienced Chief Investment Officer to manage an investments portfolio of Israeli startups

Job Description:

Menomadin Foundation invests in Israeli startups in impact sectors, such as healthcare, agriculture, energy, and more, as part of a sustainable evergreen fund. This is a unique model whereby the profits from these investments remain in the fund, ensuring long-term financial stability and ongoing support for the social objectives of the Menomadin Foundation.

The Menomadin Foundation is looking for an experienced Chief Investment Officer. This role will include leading the identification of companies, review, the investment processes and managing the portfolio, with overall responsibility for all stages of the process – from identification to improvement.

Areas of Responsibility:

•        Identifying investment opportunities in Israeli startups in the fields of ag-tech, energy, digital health, and fintech.

•        Managing the Foundation's investment portfolio, including improving existing investments and examining new investment opportunities.

•        Performing financial analyses and monitoring investment performance to achieve the Foundation's strategic goals.

•        Making strategic recommendations to the Foundation's management regarding potential avenues of investment.

•        Monitoring and close involvement in the performance of portfolio companies.

•        Representing the Foundation at forums, conferences and professional events in the field of impact investments.

•        Working in collaboration with entrepreneurs and business partners to promote the Foundation's goals.

Required skills:

•        At least 10 years of experience in investment management must be in the field of startups and impact.

•        Experience in the commercial world, especially in business development of startup companies, with experience in building and leading 'Go to Market' strategies for new products and services.

•        Experience in analyzing potential markets and implementing marketing approaches that accelerate growth.

•        Experience in creating strategic partnerships and obtaining financing, leading teams.

•        Ability to act in an entrepreneurial and innovative manner while focusing on achieving results and ensuring a high return for investors. In-depth knowledge of the Israeli startup market.

•        High level analytical ability and excellent financial understanding.

•        Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a dynamic and multi-interface environment.

•        Bachelor's degree in finance (economics, business administration, accounting) - required; master’s degree - an advantage.
