Head of Development Department

We are seeking a Head of Development for a communication company, to lead diverse development teams and oversee the organization's software operations. The role involves meeting objectives, executing advanced technological projects, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Direct management of team leaders specializing in PHP, Backend (Node.js, SQL), and WEB technologies (HTML/JavaScript/CSS).
• Oversee and implement work methodologies using JIRA for task and project management (transitioning to ODOO in the future).
• Ensure secure software development that adheres to the highest industry standards.
• Plan and execute a development strategy tailored to the organization’s needs.
• Provide professional and personal guidance to team leaders and developers, fostering professional growth.
• Manage technological projects and work closely with various industry interfaces, including collaboration with IT and system teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience managing development teams and team leaders.
• Experience integrating QA processes into the development lifecycle.
• Proven experience managing projects in a technological and industrial environment.
• Advanced knowledge of JIRA and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Expertise in secure development and compliance with stringent cybersecurity standards.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams.
• Familiarity with complex information systems and cross-system integration - advantage
