IT System Administrator – Leading Financial Company

Job Description:

A leading financial company is seeking a talented and experienced System Administrator to join its dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, including networks, routers, and servers, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Windows Servers and virtualized environments.
• Operate and troubleshoot communication networks, including routers, switches, and other network devices.
• Design and implement advanced network solutions and communication infrastructures (advantage).
• Monitor and oversee IT systems and servers, identify issues, and resolve them proactively.
• Administer and manage users and permissions in Active Directory.
• Maintain data backup and recovery systems (advantage).
• Lead and execute technological projects and upgrade existing systems.

Requirements:

• Experience: At least 4 years in a similar role – mandatory.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with capital markets/financial industry – significant advantage.
• Technical Expertise:
• Proven knowledge as a Microsoft system administrator.
• Security expertise – an advantage.
• Experience with Nutanix products – an advantage.
• Experience with EDR tools – an advantage.
• Hands-on experience in managing communication networks, including routers, switches, and protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF) – an advantage.
• Knowledge of backup and recovery solutions (e.g., Veeam, Backup Exec, Cohesity) – an advantage.
• Personal Skills:
• Strong ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
