Chief Project Engineer

We're Hiring: Chief Engineer for a Leading Medical Center!

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Engineer to lead and manage all engineering operations at our advanced medical center. This critical role involves overseeing the planning, construction, maintenance, and operation of structural and electromechanical systems, as well as transportation, energy, and infrastructure management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the technical aspects of all engineering projects, including system design, infrastructure improvements, and maintenance activities.
• Prepare detailed annual and multi-year work plans and budgets for construction, maintenance, and energy efficiency initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with approved budgets and timelines for all engineering-related operations.
• Provide technical training and guidance to maintenance teams, enhancing their professional capabilities.
• Coordinate the integration of new buildings and infrastructure systems into the hospital.
• Supervise significant construction and engineering projects in collaboration with senior hospital management.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize energy efficiency for electromechanical systems.
• Liaise with external contractors to ensure adherence to contracts, work plans, and budgetary constraints.
• Respond to technical and maintenance issues promptly, including emergencies during nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Represent the hospital in professional committees within the healthcare system.

Requirements:

• Certified engineer in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering (registered in the Engineers and Architects Registry).
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering and supervision of complex, multi-system projects.
• Proven expertise in negotiating with planning authorities, contractors, and suppliers.
• Native-level Hebrew and high-level English proficiency.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a high level of service orientation.
• Exceptional technical and organizational capabilities.
