Civil Engineer – Infrastructure

Job Overview:

Israel Shipyards is seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Engineer specializing in infrastructure to join our team. This role involves managing, supervising, and upgrading infrastructure projects within our shipyard complex, ensuring seamless execution and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Implement and oversee guidelines for infrastructure projects, including buildings, roads, water systems, and other facilities.
2. Manage and supervise the execution of infrastructure projects from start to finish.
3. Provide comprehensive support throughout all stages of infrastructure projects.
4. Oversee and manage infrastructure systems within the shipyard complex, such as water, air, gas, roads, electricity, fire detection, and buildings.
5. Lead efforts to upgrade and modernize existing systems.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Licensed Civil Engineer or Civil/Construction Engineer with relevant experience.
2. At least 5 years of experience managing infrastructure construction projects within the industrial sector.
3. Proven expertise in supervising and executing infrastructure projects, including specifications, RFIs/RFQs, execution, documentation, and subcontractor billing/monitoring.
4. Strong ability to collaborate across multiple interfaces and manage subcontractors effectively.
5. Resilient under pressure with the ability to handle heavy workloads efficiently.
6. Availability to work overtime as required.
7. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
8. Self-motivated with the ability to learn and adapt independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with the Priority software system.
2. Proficiency in AutoCAD.
3. Familiarity with SMARTEAM software.
