About the Role:

We're looking for a Senior SEO Manager to join our SEO team and play a key role in driving Connecteam's organic growth. You'll work closely with our Head of SEO and Senior Content Editor to build on our strong SEO strategy, refine it further, and lead its execution across our digital properties.

We're looking for someone who has a deep, fundamental understanding of SEO principles and best practices and knows how to apply them effectively. At the same time, the ideal candidate isn't afraid to develop and test new ideas, experiment with tools and strategies, and embrace innovation to stay ahead in a competitive landscape.

You'll have the autonomy to manage projects, take ownership of your work, and drive initiatives from idea to execution without needing constant oversight. If you're a proactive problem-solver with a passion for continuous learning, this role is for you.

What You'll Do:

• SEO Strategy Development: Collaborate with the SEO team to refine, expand, and innovate our existing SEO strategy. Identify and prioritize high-impact areas and content opportunities through keywords, competitor and product analysis .
• Execution: Take ownership of executing SEO initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals, and delivering measurable results.
• Content Collaboration: Partner with the content team to guide content updates and ensure alignment with SEO goals.
• Managing On and Off Page SEO: Oversee optimization of metadata, headers, internal linking, and overall content structure. Work with developers to optimize site structure, indexing, page speed, and overall technical performance.
• Performance Monitoring: Analyze SEO performance using tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Search Console, Looker, and more. Use insights to make data-driven decisions.
• Experimentation & Innovation: Test new tools, strategies, and approaches to improve SEO performance while ensuring alignment with SEO fundamentals.
• AI Integration: Leverage AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or Perplexity to streamline workflows, improve productivity, and enhance outcomes.
  
  

• Experience: 2+ years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally in a B2B SaaS environment.
• SEO Expertise: Proven experience with on-page, off-page and technical SEO strategies.
• Analytical Mindset: Proficiency with tools like Looker, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and SEMrush.
• HTML, CSS & JavaScript Knowledge: Familiarity with how these technologies impact SEO and the ability to identify and address common technical SEO issues.
• Team Player & Communicator: A collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills, able to share ideas clearly, provide constructive feedback, and work effectively across teams.
• Strategic Thinker: Ability to balance long-term strategy with tactical execution.
• Self-Starter: Highly motivated, proactive, and capable of managing projects independently.
• Innovation-Driven: Eager to test new ideas, experiment with tools, and push boundaries to improve results.
• AI Curious: Experience with or willingness to learn and experiment with AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or Perplexity.
• Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
