Mainframe System Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mainframe System Specialist to join our team. The role involves responsibility for maintaining and developing infrastructure systems supporting applications in a Mainframe (MF) environment. This includes managing all Mainframe infrastructure, the organizational Webservices platform, and external interfaces based on TCP/IP.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop, maintain, and manage Mainframe infrastructure and applications.
• Oversee the organizational Webservices platform used by internal and external clients.
• Manage external interfaces using TCP/IP with external service providers.
• Perform installation and maintenance of the z/OS operating system.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of systems.

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 5 years of experience working with Mainframe systems.
• Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with the z/OS operating system, including installation and maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to handle critical system tasks under pressure.
• Availability for on-call shifts outside regular working hours, including weekends.
