Backend Team Lead

Description

In this role, you will be integral in designing, building, and maintaining our various projects on a different scale, using modern technologies and emphasizing high performance, scalability, and availability. This is a proper, unique backend team lead position that puts you in charge of everything in the system and the development cycle. You have to be a hands-on backend developer in this position. 4 days from the office and 1 day from home.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in managing teams
• Extensive experience in the design and development of web applications
• At least 3 years of experience in server-side development with one or more of the following languages: JS (node), Python, Go
• Experience with Relational and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
• Experience with cloud-based server infrastructure (e.g AWS, Google Cloud)
• Experience with Linux environment and containers (docker)
• Experience in Agile development, including CI, CD, and automated testing
• Good understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies
• Experience with SOA, microservices and Kubernetes is an advantage
• Experience in client-side development, using one or more of the following frameworks: React, VueJS is an advantage
• Experience with high-scale production environments is an advantage
