Project Manager (PMO)

Purpose of the Role:

To lead and manage major projects from initiation and definition stages through implementation, including management of timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and collaborating with relevant functions across the organization to ensure the project meets cost, quality, content, and schedule objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• PMO Services: Provide coordination and control services across the following areas:
• Budget
• Resources
• Timelines
• Risks and barriers from planning through to project completion.
• Project Definition and Scope: Develop and define project scopes and requirements, coordinating with all relevant functions in the organization.
• Coordination with Stakeholders: Ensure project flow and progress according to objectives and timelines by coordinating between all involved parties.
• Resource Availability: Ensure resources are available and allocated for projects.
• Monitoring and Compliance: Track projects performance and ensure adherence to the work plan, including assisting in the creation of project work plans (Budget and milestones).
• Task Control and Prioritization: Oversee tasks and manage priorities in line with department policies.
• Project Monitoring Tools: Build tools for tracking and monitoring projects, display them within the organization, create project dashboards, status reports, and manage regular status meetings.
• Decision Monitoring: Monitor action items derived from project requirements and goals.
• Methodology and Best Practices: Develop and implement a standardized methodology and approach for managing and controlling projects across the department.
• Project Integration: Coordinate between all functions/departments involved in the project, including monitoring contractor's performance when relevant.
• Documentation and Reporting: Document the project and produce reports for project performance analysis and control.
• Escalation: When necessary, use escalation to the department head.
• Data Analysis: Provide data from various projects for efficiency, process analysis, and cost modeling.
• Dashboard Management: Oversee the departmental dashboard, ensuring data input is consistent and accurate.
• SW PDM Administration: Implement the system, build and maintain workflows, and enforce control processes.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Industrial Engineering).
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in project management in industry.
• Certification: PMP certification – Advantage.
• Familiarity: Understanding of configuration management processes (ECO/version control/document management, etc.).
• Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with PDM systems – Advantage.
• Presentation Skills: High-level presentation capabilities.
• Language: High proficiency in English.
• Project Leadership: Ability to lead and drive projects.
• Analysis and Planning: Strong analytical, planning, and understanding of relevant technologies and processes.
• Production Support Understanding: Knowledge of production support processes (procurement, planning, logistics, quality).
