Head Bookkeeper

A dynamic and successful fintech company is seeking a Head Bookkeeper with extensive experience to lead our team and ensure our financial information is accurate and up-to-date. The role involves managing the accounting team, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and reporting financial results to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage the accounting team.
• Oversee the Accounts Payable cycle, including invoice recording and payment preparation.
• Implement and integrate the ERP system (NetSuite) into accounting processes.
• Prepare reports for authorities, including VAT and withholding taxes.
• Monitor intercompany transactions and general ledger accounts.
• Improve internal processes and ensure quality control.
• Support month-end closing and financial reporting processes.

Requirements:

• Bookkeeping Certificate - Type 3.
• 10+ years of experience in bookkeeping, preferably in global companies.
• Experience working in public companies – a must!
• Experience in team management and proficiency with NetSuite ERP - a must.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Understanding of ITA rules and reporting requirements.
