Payroll Accountant

We are currently seeking a Payroll Accountant to join our Finance team. In this role, you will report directly to the Payroll Manager and take a hands-on approach to ensure efficient and accurate payroll processing.

Responsibilities

• Manage and process monthly payroll for approximately 400 employees in Israel
• Oversee payroll for a few dozen employees across international subsidiaries
• Verify and ensure the accuracy of approved timesheets
• Handle the tracking and execution of special payroll deductions
• Process paperwork for new hires and terminations
• Provide timely and confidential responses to employee payroll inquiries
• Assist with ad-hoc tasks as required

• 3-5 years of experience in payroll preparation or support.
• Familiarity with foreign payroll processes is a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of Israeli labor laws, taxes, and social security regulations.
• Experience with payroll systems like “HASHAVIM” or “HILAN.”
• Strong proficiency in Excel.
• Excellent ability to prioritize tasks, meet tight deadlines, and work effectively in a team environment.
• Problem-solving skills with the capacity to address issues independently and escalate when necessary.
• High accuracy, strong attention to detail, and outstanding organizational skills.
• Self-motivated, quick learner, dedicated, and responsible.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Previous experience in a multinational company is an advantage.
• A Bachelor’s degree is an advantage.
