Technical Communicator Team Leader

We are looking for a Technical Communication Team Lead to join the Technical Communication group. A leader with a passion for communicating complex technical concepts related to network security, and a desire to expand their knowledge of cutting-edge cyber security products, lead a dedicated running team and drive them to success.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of technical communicators to create high-quality, user-focused documentation.
• Oversee the documentation process for complex network security features, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
• Collaborate with R&D, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver comprehensive, up-to-date product information.
• Drive continuous improvement in documentation processes and standards to maintain excellence.
• Contribute to the strategic vision of the Technical Communication group by aligning team efforts with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Proven leader - at least 5 years of experience in technical writing, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Excellent knowledge of network security, cybersecurity concepts, and technologies.
• A problem solver who thrives on tackling challenges with creative solutions.
• Strong interpersonal and team management skills to encourage collaboration and growth within the team.

It would be great if you also have:

• Experience with writing tools like MadCap Flare, or equivalent CCMS platforms.
• Familiarity with network protocols, communications and network security.
• A strong understanding of the software documentation lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• A passion for learning new tools and technologies.
• Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
