Data Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our data engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines and workflows, with a strong focus on SQL-based data processing in modern data warehouses like Snowflake. This role requires a deep understanding of data engineering principles, SQL programming, and the ability to handle large data sets efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and workflows to support data retrieval and analysis.
• Write and maintain complex SQL queries and stored procedures for data processing and transformation.
• Utilize advanced SQL techniques such as window functions for analytical and reporting purposes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data integration with business solutions.
• Assist in the design and maintenance of data warehouse schemas and architecture.
• Monitor and ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance within the database systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in collaboration with team members.
• Stay updated with advancements in data engineering tools, SQL, and database technologies, particularly in modern data warehousing environments like Snowflake.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on SQL development.
• Proficiency in SQL, including experience with advanced techniques like window functions and other complex operations.
• Hands-on experience with modern data warehouses such as Snowflake, and familiarity with similar technologies.
• Knowledge of data management, data integration, and ETL processes.
• Ability to write efficient, maintainable, and clear SQL code.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
