Back End Developer

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Back End Developer at Milestone. The Back End Developer will be responsible for tasks related to back-end web development, software development, object-oriented programming (OOP), front-end development, and programming.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Backend development - a must
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field - a must
• Vast experience in Django and Python - a must
• Strong background in data engineering (Spark, Databricks,Airflow, data modeling, and ETL skills) - a must
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is desirable.
• Strong understanding of server-side development concepts, including RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, and event-driven architecture
• Experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Excellent communication skills in English
