We are now seeking a motivated Student Robotics & Field Engineer to join our dynamic team and help shape the future of robotics in logistics.

Role Overview

In this hybrid role, you will split your time between hands-on robotics and perception learning & development at our office (1 day midweek) and drone field operations (2 days: Friday morning and Saturday night or other midweek night). You’ll gain real-world experience in cutting-edge drone technology, computer vision, and robotics, while also assisting in solving technical challenges that arise in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• R&D and Learning (1 Day Midweek)
• Assist in developing and testing algorithms for robotics and perception tasks
• Work closely with our engineering team to improve drone software and hardware
• Engage in ongoing learning and development in computer vision and sensor fusion
• Field Operations (Friday Morning & Saturday Night or other midweek night)
• Operate and fly autonomous drones during warehouse operations
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site
• Collect and analyze flight data to optimize performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth field deployments

Qualifications

• Current student pursuing a degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
• Familiarity with robotics concepts, drone systems, or computer vision
• Ability to work effectively in both a research-focused and field-based environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle unexpected challenges
• Availability to work 1 day midweek on-site and 2 days (Friday mornings and Saturday nights or other midweek night) in the field
• Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and contributing to a growing startup

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with Python/C++ for robotic applications
• Exposure to perception algorithms, sensor fusion, or machine learning
• Prior drone operation or UAV experience
