Software Engineering Team Lead

A funded startup in the Data Marketing field has developed a platform for automated marketing at scale, leveraging vast amounts of data in real-time. Their platform centralizes B2B marketing processes, including notifications, push messages, and other marketing workflows, enabling clients to work with a single, cohesive system. A key feature is its real-time updates, ensuring changes are reflected within two seconds.

The platform aggregates all data in one place, producing reports that support sales processes and enable advanced Big Data analysis. The company collaborates with gaming firms and other organizations managing large-scale data.

Located in Ramat Gan near a train station, the company operates a hybrid work model and employs 30 people.

Position Overview-

• Establishing and leading a Backend team in Israel (complementing an existing team in Ukraine), with potential for future management opportunities.
• Technical leadership of Backend development in Israel.
• Development of server-side applications using Java with Spring Boot in a Microservices architecture.

Requirements-

• 5 years of experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Short Managerial ex' of a small team.
• Proficient in Core Java, and familiar with Spring framework.
• Profound insight of Java internals.
• Working in a Microservice architecture
• BSc in Computer Science or a similar technical field.
• Experience with large object-oriented projects.
• Experience with solving optimization problems.
• Experience handling Big Data scale and latency challenges.
• Strong understanding of design patterns, best practices, and coding standards.
• Excellent abstraction and analytical skills.
• Team player, accountable, dedicated, and passionate.
