Donor Relations Coordinator

We Are:

The Hebrew Statist Education Council serves as a home for the philosophies and values of participants in the Hebrew Statist education system — the largest education system in Israel, which encompasses secular and traditional Jews from the periphery and the center and from the political left and right. The council embodies a unique core of values for this system. It works to address the needs of the students in the system through pedagogical support and development, support for teaching staff, and ensuring its fair representation within government, working with local authorities and the other education systems.

You Are:

● Experienced in resource development, with at least three years of proven experience

● Familiar with the philanthropic world in Israel and abroad

● Fluent in English at a native level, both spoken and written

● Experience in the field of education – an advantage

● Connected to the values of The Hebrew Statist Education Council

Responsibilities:

● Collaborating on the leadership of the resource development strategy

● Identifying relevant foundations and private donors in Israel and internationally

● Maintaining relationships with donors

● Writing grant applications and submitting performance reports

● Demonstrating the ability to learn deeply and work independently

Position Details:

This is a 50%-60% part-time position.
