New Product Introduction Engineer

Experienced Mechanical / NPI Engineer for a Leading Medical Company in Yokneam

A leading medical company in Yokneam is seeking an experienced Mechanical or NPI Engineer for an end-to-end role with full responsibility for transferring miniature products from development to production. The role includes process improvement, failure investigations, collaboration with global subcontractors and suppliers, and cross-functional teamwork with teams locally and internationally.

Responsibilities:

• End-to-end ownership of transferring miniature products from development to production (NPI).
• Planning, implementing, and improving production processes, including cost reduction and yield enhancement.
• Managing failure investigations, performing analyses, providing solutions, and implementing them.
• Writing work instructions, validation (IQ/OQ/PQ), and verification reports.
• Close collaboration with subcontractors, including site visits worldwide and managing technical and quality interfaces.
• Managing and coordinating between various departments within a global, multidisciplinary organization.
• Writing and delivering high-level technical reports in English.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or another relevant field.
• Experience: 5-10 years of experience in transferring products from development to production, working with miniature products, and within a global, multidisciplinary environment.
• Technical Knowledge:
• Experience with micro-assemblies and production processes in manufacturing facilities.
• Proficiency in mechanical design using SolidWorks (mandatory).
• Understanding of processes involving suppliers and subcontractors.
• Personal Skills:
• Ability to independently lead complex processes and manage end-to-end tasks.
• Strong team player with cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Excellent communication and the ability to drive internal and external partners.
• Languages: Fluent English in speaking, writing, and reading, with strong technical writing skills.
• Additional Requirements: Willingness to travel frequently domestically and internationally, including hands-on work in the field and laboratories.
