Job Opportunity: Senior Thermal Engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Thermal Engineer to join our team. If you’re passionate about

modeling, simulations, and applying your expertise to complex engineering challenges,

this is the role for you! You will be responsible for developing and validating thermal

models for various platforms and physical phenomena across space, air, sea, and land

environments. These models will play a crucial role in predicting electro-optical

signatures for advanced applications.

Key Responsibilities:

 Develop and validate models for predicting electro-optical signatures through

simulations of heat and mass transfer, viscous/compressible, and reactive flows.

 Conduct field and ground-based model validation using radiometric

measurements and literature comparisons.

 Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure model accuracy and

integrate them into broader system designs.

 Utilize programming skills in MATLAB or Python, and potentially CFD tools, to

optimize model development.

 Contribute to research and applied projects for both defense and civilian sectors.

Qualifications:

 Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Engineering or Exact Sciences from a

recognized university (Israel or abroad).

 At least 2 years of experience in heat transfer modeling and physical simulations

using dedicated tools.

 Strong understanding of heat and mass transfer principles, particularly radiation

heat transfer.

 Basic knowledge of electro-optics and their applications.

 Proficiency in MATLAB or Python programming.

 Familiarity with CFD simulation tools is a plus.

 Eligible for security clearance.
