Back End Developer

A successful FinTech Start-Up is developing a platform that eliminates the need for manual involvement in payment processing, fully automating the billing and collection process for businesses. The company is experiencing significant growth after major fundraising rounds.

Located in Tel Aviv, the office is near the light rail and train lines, with a work-from-home option. The company has 32 employees.

About the role-

• The role focuses on development in GO.
• Research, design, and implement high-performance resilient APIs and services
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment by sharing your knowledge and expertise
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to deliver robust solutions in short development iterations
• Develop maintainable and clean code with heavy reliance on developer testing
• Make thoughtful trade-offs based on business priorities, user needs, and a sustainable technical foundation

Requirements:

• An experienced Backend Engineer with a minimum of 6 years in the field.
• Knowledge in Go / Typescript - advantage
• Extensive experience with web development practices and methodologies - advantage
• Experience with processes such as TDD / Extreme Programming / Kanban - a big plus.
• Experience with GCP, AWS, or other cloud providers - a plus
• Familiarity with database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL) - a big plus.
• Experience in designing, prioritizing and leading software projects - a plus
• Experience working with microservices / event driven architectures.
• B.Sc. in Computer Science (or equivalent).
