Senior Backend Developer

We are looking for a talented Senior Full Stack Python Data engineer with a strong

background in big data and ETL pipelines to join our R&D department for extreme

fast charge lithium battery research.

You will have a major role in our small Data Science team and the development and

implementation of our new on-premise data ecosystem for StoreDot’s research, data

acquisition, automated analysis, ML predictors, visualizations and many more complex

challenges.

This is a senior position in our small Data Science team with responsibility and

influence – are you up to it?

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design and implement clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code

for backend and frontend

• Define and implement ETL and other pipelines.

· Big-data processing, across public clouds and on-prem

• Capable of vertical work from problem definition to product implementation.

• Conduct code and design reviews for other teammates

• Coordinate cross-functionally with researchers and teams to ensure projects meet

business objectives and compliance standards

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the

following competencies:

• B.Sc. in Computer Science

• A curious mind and a general technical can-do attitude.

• 10 years of experience as a Python Full Stack data engineer.

• 10 years of full stack or frontend experience, preferably web.

• 2 years of experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or

equivalent).

• 2 years of experience with Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, Spark, Hive, Iceberg)

• 2 years of experience with data orchestration tools (Airflow preferred)

• Linux server-side development.

• Git and CI/CD pipelines.

• Agile / Scrum native.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, team player with strong communications and

debugging skills

• Fluent written and spoken English is a must in an international company
