Configuration Management Team Lead

We are seeking a Configuration Management Team Lead for an Elta Division.

What will you do:

• Lead and manage a team of configuration managers.
• Provide professional guidance, mentoring, and certification for team members.
• Develop and execute work plans.
• Define configuration management processes in collaboration with technological units within the division.
• Manage extensive work interfaces, including interactions with company management.
• Oversee project configuration management, including:
• Preparing and supervising the implementation of project configuration management plans (CMP).
• Supervising product tree development and implementing configuration identification policies, including defining configuration items (CI), labeling, and marking.
• Planning and monitoring product tree development according to guidelines and overseeing item releases.
• Tracking project changes, coordinating change control boards (CCB), and managing approval processes.
• Producing periodic configuration status reports.
• Reviewing project documents, tracking their release processes, and ensuring project timelines are met.
• Participating in internal and external configuration audits and reviews as needed.

What we're looking for:

• Degree or certification in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electronics – mandatory.
• At least three years of experience as a configuration manager in projects – mandatory.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools and Teamcenter systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) – mandatory.
• Previous experience in mechanical design, electronic design, software engineering, project control, or production – an advantage.
• Familiarity with SAP and MS Project – an advantage.
• Experience managing a team – an advantage.
