Java Software Engineer

A young AI startup has developed an AI-based system that examines human-computer interaction. The system identifies repetitive actions and patterns performed by users (such as CS, Finance, or Support personnel) and suggests automation for these tasks.

For example, it can streamline the month-end closing process for finance teams working with Excel.

The company is based in Tel Aviv, near a train station, and operates with a hybrid model of 1-2 days of remote work. It currently has 4 employees (2 founders and 2 developers) and was founded a few months ago by Talpiot alumni.

They have already raised $7M in Seed funding from leading VCs and have paying customers among SMBs in the U.S. market.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a promising company at an early stage with significant room for impact.

Role Overview:

• Join the founding team as the third developer.
• Full-Stack development with a focus on the server-side.
• Work with NodeJS and JavaScript (Backend-only development is also an option).
• Build E2E solutions and design architectures in an AWS environment.
• Open to candidates with a background in other languages like Java, Scala, Kotlin, or Clojure.

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in Backend or Full-Stack development.
• Proven excellence in academic or professional achievements.
• Degree from a leading university or experience in a top technological unit.
• Proficiency in one or more of the following: Scala, Java, Kotlin, or Clojure.
