Data Engineer

A startup company in the Data field develops a Cloud-based platform enabling marketing and sales professionals worldwide to share business information and gain insights into their target customers. The platform also recommends potential clients and organizations relevant to sales professionals, streamlining the business information gathering process and allowing them to focus on the actual sale.

Located in Tel Aviv, near a train station, the company offers a hybrid work model with two work-from-home days. The team consists of 300 employees, with offices in Tel Aviv and Boston. The company raised $205 million in a Series B round at a valuation of $1.5 billion, achieving unicorn status.

Position Overview

Join a team developing in Python (prior experience in the language is not required; candidates with a background in Java, Scala, Kotlin, or Clojure are also suitable). The role involves working with Spark and Airflow.

Tech Stack- NO-SQL Databases ,Spark, Kafka, Athena, Elasticsearch, Airflow, Kubernetes and Docker

Requirements-

• 2 years experience in designing and implementing server-side Data solutions.
• 3 years programming experience, preferably in Python and SQL.
• Experience implementing algorithmic solutions, data mining, and analytical methodologies.
• Able to use orchestration frameworks such as Airflow, Kubernetes, and Docker Swarm.
• Experience with Data Lake, Spark - Advantage.
• Familiarity with AWS ecosystem - Advantage.
• Familiarity with the following tools: Kafka, DataBricks, Jenkins - advantage.
• Experience working with various database engines (relational, document storage, key-value, time series) - ElasticSearch, Redis, Postgres, MySQL
