Process Researcher

Job description

• Responsible for the digital dyeing process development on Twine’s systems which are unique and highly innovative.
• Study and optimize process parameters for new media, inks and new platforms, involving multi-disciplinary knowledge and skill set.
• Design, plan, execution and analysis of process tests, must have hands-on approach and experience.
• Understanding of mechanical design concepts and methodologies.
• Develop physical models to characterize interactions between subsystems, understand physical mechanisms and define critical parameters
• Define system requirements for cross functional R&D teams enabling future innovation and current product improvements.
• Work in a fast pace multi-disciplinary environment, interfacing with all R&D teams, customer success, worldwide support, application, product and marketing. 
• Developing out of the box approaches – problem solving.
• Work in both agile mode and methodological approaches.

Credentials & Experience 

• B.Sc. or higher in exact sciences or engineering, preferably Material/Mechanical Engineering or Physics.
• At least 3 years of experience as an R&D/process researcher in the industry, preferably in the digital print industry or textile related fields. 
• Well experienced in design of experiments, research, analysis and definition of requirements.
• Self-motivated, passionate, ability to adapt, fast learner.
• Excellent communication skills both in Hebrew and English.
