Position Overview
The company is at a pivotal juncture of expansion, prioritizing personalized engagement strategies to fuel product success and revenue growth. As the Demand Generation Manager, you will take ownership of every user touchpoint—from initial sign-up to advanced feature adoption—ensuring a seamless journey that converts casual users into dedicated advocates.
Key Responsibilities
User Mapping & Persona Segmentation
- Develop data-driven segmentation models to identify core user groups and align platform features with each persona.
- Discover new market segments and tailor messaging accordingly.
Onboarding & Feature Discovery
- Collaborate with product and content teams to create tailored onboarding flows that swiftly guide new users to their “aha” moments.
- Implement A/B testing to refine onboarding strategies and accelerate users’ time-to-value.
Product Usage & Conversion
- Increase platform usage by identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities across different user segments.
- Develop and execute conversion strategies for both new and existing users, streamlining plan transitions and optimizing engagement.
Ownership of Customer Communication Channels
- Oversee and coordinate messages across various platforms, including email, SMS, push notifications, and in-app channels.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and ensure each communication is tailored to relevant segments.
Lifecycle Tools & Implementation
- Identify, evaluate, and integrate software tools that enhance lifecycle marketing initiatives.
- Work closely with technical teams to manage integrations and maintain a cohesive workflow.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in CRM, lifecycle, or email marketing in a B2C or B2SMB environment with a product-led growth motion.
- 3+ years using modern CRM platforms to create and optimize lifecycle campaigns.
- Proven track record of leveraging data to develop effective customer personas and segments.
- Demonstrated success in leading lifecycle marketing strategies that drive engagement and retention.
- Expertise in email marketing best practices, with strong copywriting and editing skills.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics and the ability to interpret analytics to inform campaign improvements.
- Background in overseeing technical integrations and working collaboratively with product/development teams.
- Exceptional project management skills, capable of balancing multiple initiatives and cross-functional coordination.
- Strong writing skills and attention to detail.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience in content-driven or creative industries.
- Familiarity with Intercom.
