R&D Team Lead

Our Military Aircraft Division is hiring an R&D Team Leader to lead the development of mini-tactical systems.

What will you do:

• Manage an R&D System Engineering team specializing in mini-tactical systems across various development stages.
• Lead engineering departments within the division and coordinate with external and internal stakeholders in R&D projects at different development stages.
• Oversee the work plan and budget for system engineering in R&D projects.
• Provide engineering support for marketing activities, including proposals and responses to tenders.
• Lead the design of integrated system architecture (aircraft, ground control systems, communications, etc.).
• Manage interface definitions, system requirement documents, and software specifications.
• Oversee design reviews and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
• Manage flight approval processes with the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and IAI safety committees.
• Oversee testing, integration, and flight test procedures.

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Software, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering – Mandatory.
• At least 6 years of experience in integrated system engineering within the UAV field – Mandatory.
• Experience managing an engineering team – Advantage.
• Knowledge and experience with drones and VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) systems – Significant Advantage.
