The Business Data & Development team is unique at AppsFlyer. Positioned within Business Operations, reporting to the CIO as part of the AppsFlyer IS department, the team is still a full engineering unit connected to our R&D family (particularly the SEGA (SaaS Enablement & Growth Acceleration) organization). The team supports all our business functions and provides the link between the Appsflyer product and our internal teams in the areas of BDE/BI, billing and integrations between our key business applications and the Product.

Leading the Business Data & Development team is a vital and significant role helping to move the business to the next level while supporting AppsFlyer’s exponential growth. This position requires an innovative mindset, a strong technological understanding, managing and mentoring a group of developers and a strong leadership presence. We are looking for someone with curiosity to research out-of-the-box business and technical solutions, and the passion to learn new things every day.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and mentor the BD&D team leaders in various aspects such as SW engineering, data engineering, architecture, BI, business impact etc.
• Be part of the CIOs leadership team helping to create the strategy and product to enable business success
• Lead technical initiatives, processes, methodologies and architectural decisions
• Maintain a close and vital link to the Business Applications team and Business Product Management team to ensure we are delivering added value according to the agreed business priorities.
• Work closely with the Finance department as the owner of the billing systems and processes
• Lead cross business systems integrations and ensure synchronization using cutting edge technologies
• Work closely with the Business Analytics and Operational teams to develop and maintain a robust and coherent business model, define the required business process and capabilities, and create one source of truth by maintaining and improving our Data Warehouse, semantic data layer and Looker capabilities.
• Ensure that business processes are built for scale, for example: Billing Process, Onboarding funnel, accounts activation, etc.
• Build and own teams that deliver products which are robust, high quality and scalable
• Collaborate and communicate with business owners and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• End-to-end development ownership of the business technology.
• Be passionate about driving and maintaining Engineering Excellence.
  
  

What You Have

• At least 7 years of development and design experience
• 3-5 years minimum management experience
• B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent qualification
• Vast and proven experience in building and leading engineering teams
• Experience in working with high-scale, distributed cloud-based architectures and AWS specifically
• Experience in working with large-scale of data across multiple data warehouses.
• Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills which enable working successfully with engineers, product owners and business stakeholders
• Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English
