As part of our exciting growth, we are seeking a motivated and creative Social Media Specialist to own and enhance our social media presence. This role is ideal for someone early in their career, with a passion for storytelling, content creation, and community building. You’ll be the driving force behind Papaya Global’s engagement with online audiences, ensuring our brand is visible, impactful, and part of the right conversations.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Content Creation - Craft, schedule, and publish posts across platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.) to showcase Papaya Global’s industry leadership and brand personality.
- Community Engagement - Monitor social channels, actively respond to comments, and initiate discussions to foster meaningful interactions and grow our audience.
- Trendspotting and Real-time Marketing - Stay on top of industry news, trends, and relevant discussions, and create timely, engaging content to participate in key conversations.
- Online Reputation Management - Monitor mentions of Papaya Global and contribute to shaping our brand narrative through proactive engagement.
- Group & Forum Participation - Identify and join relevant online communities to engage with target audiences and establish Papaya as a thought leader in workforce payments.
- Event Support - assist with sourcing, planning, and organizing logistics for industry events, webinars and conferences, ensuring Papaya Global's impactful presence.
- Work closely with the marketing team to align social media activities with broader campaigns and paid media expert to amplify efforts.
- Track performance metrics (e.g., engagement, followers, mentions) and present regular reports with insights and recommendations.
- 2–4 years of experience managing social media channels in a B2B tech environment.
- Strong writing and communication skills (English), with a knack for crafting engaging content tailored to different audiences.
- Creative mindset and the ability to think outside the box to make Papaya Global stand out.
- Familiarity with tools like LinkedIn Analytics, Oktopost, HubSpot, Monday and similar platforms.
- Enthusiastic, proactive attitude with a passion for social media and digital trends.
- Knowledge of workforce payments, global payroll, or HR tech.
