DevOps Manager

A global Web Cyber Security company specializes in developing products that protect large websites from modern cyberattacks. They focus on bot attacks, account takeover, and protection of JS libraries. The company currently safeguards some of the largest internet systems worldwide.

The company employs 400 people globally with offices in the USA and Israel, and is based in Tel Aviv, within walking distance of a train station. They operate with a flexible hybrid model.

The Israeli office is primarily a technology hub for research and development, working at very high scales with advanced technologies. The company places a strong emphasis on career development and employee well-being.

Role Overview:

• The position involves building a new team that will lead the Data domain within the DevOps group.
• The team is expected to consist of 5 members, with 2 internal team members joining and 3 new hires needed.
• The hands-on percentage will depend on the candidate but is expected to be high initially and decrease as the team grows.
• The team will be responsible for building the architecture of big-scale infrastructure, including rebuilding the existing Kafka infrastructure.
• Tech Stack:
• Kafka, ElasticSearch, Redis, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP.

Requirements-

• 2 years of experience as a DevOps or Engineering team lead.
• 5 years of experience as a hand-on DevOps engineer.
• Proven record leading the design and implementation of big scale infrastructure.
• Proven experience with data infrastructure: Kafka, ElasticSearch, Redis, MongoDB, and Postgresql.
• Masterful organizational, communication, and leadership skills, backed by previous professional success.
