DevOps Engineer

A Data Marketing startup has developed a product focused on automated data-driven marketing at scale. The company provides a platform for data management in automated marketing, designed to handle large-scale marketing operations, particularly for B2B clients, such as marketing providers, notifications, push services, and other marketing processes.

The platform operates in real-time, updating whenever a new customer joins or an event occurs, with updates processed in 2 seconds. Additionally, it consolidates all data into one place and generates reports that assist sales processes.

The company is located in Central Israel, near a train station, offers a hybrid work model, and employs around 30 people. They work extensively with gaming companies and other businesses handling large amounts of data, providing Big Data analysis reports.

Role Overview:

• Lead DevOps role within the company, responsible for managing the entire DevOps function.
• Reporting to the architect and overseeing the end-to-end DevOps processes.
• Tech Stack:
• AWS, Kubernetes, Linux

Requirements:

• 3 years of hands-on experience as an AWS DevOps engineer for large-scale production-grade products/architectures.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Expertise in designing and implementing highly resilient big data applications and troubleshooting distributed systems, with a strong emphasis on security considerations. Advantage.
• Proficiency in networking protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, routing, and VPN.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) deployments, emphasizing automation and scalability. Proficient with Kubernetes, experience with KEDA and HPA - Advantage.
• Familiarity with AWS security tools suite (e.g., WAF, Key Management) and concepts (e.g., Zero Trust), with a focus on practical implementation and integration.
• Self-learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies and environments.
• Strong analytical skills and a commitment to quality, with a collaborative work ethic.
• Academic degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
