Our client is a global leader in advance digital surgery solutions including robotic assisted technology onward to AI/ML empowered surgical innovation.

This digital surgery pioneer has created a surgical platform that digitizes the interface between the surgeon and the patient to improve minimally invasive surgery through digital laparoscopy.

It enables the use of advanced capabilities such as augmented intelligence, connectivity, and robotics in laparoscopy and seeks to address the current clinical, cognitive, and economic shortcomings in surgery.

This world class organization is looking to add an experienced software engineer to join their expanding Israel R&D team to help implement system software and infrastructure with particular emphasis on Desktop applications which involve high performance video, graphics and communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of medical device software for existing and future complex surgical robotics platforms.
• Implement system software and infrastructure with particular emphasis on Desktop applications which involve high performance video, graphics and communication.
• Work in an agile global R&D team, and interact with cross-functional departments to define requirements, design, and new features.
• Comply with regulatory requirements, including company design control procedures.
• Assist in document control and maintenance of design history files.
• All other essential duties as directed.

Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications

• BSc in Computer Science or related engineering degree.
• Fluency in Hebrew and English.
• 4+ years of experience developing C++ code for Windows platform using Visual Studio.
• Experience with C#/.NET.
• Experience with multi-threading applications.
• Strong understanding of OOP.
• Capable of working in a cross-functioning team environment.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills.
• Experience with GIT.

Preferred Skills, Experience & Qualifications

• Communications protocols (such as TCP/IP, UDP, DDS).
• GUI frameworks such as QT / WPF / Winforms /.NET MAUI / Blazor
• Experience with video applications.
• Experience with Linux and cross-platform development.
• Experience with Python.
• Basic knowledge with CICD platform.
• Experience in a global company.
• Experience in a medical device company.

Soft Skills
