Our client is a global leader in advance digital surgery solutions including robotic assisted technology onward to AI/ML empowered surgical innovation.

This organization has contracted our office to assist in expanding their Israeli R&D team and seeking a C++ Software Lead to oversee a team of developers in advancing the next generation of AI and vision-assisted robotics in the operating room.

This includes implementing computer vision algorithms, handling video or image acquisition, processing, and display.

The role requires working in an agile global R&D team and collaborating with cross-functional departments to define requirements, design new features, and comply with regulatory requirements, including the company's design control procedures.

Position Responsibilities:

• Design and development of medical device software for existing and future complex surgical robotic platforms
• Implement system software and infrastructure with particular emphasis on Desktop applications and machine vision systems
• Computer vision algorithms implementations
• Confidential. See document control system for verification of current revision, effective date and approvals.
• Video or image handling including acquisition, processing, and display
• Work in an agile global R&D team, interact with cross-functional
• departments, define requirements, design, and new features
• Comply with regulatory requirements, including company design control
• procedures
• Assist in document control and maintenance of design history files

All Other Essential Duties as directed Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications

• BSc in Computer Science or related engineering degree
• 5+ years of experience in developing high-performance code in C++ for Windows platform or RT systems
• Strong understanding of OOP, multi-process, and multi-threading applications
• Experience in the computer vision algorithms implementation
• Deep understanding of the image processing principles
• Experience with NVidia tools and SDKs is a strong advantage
• Experience with video grabbing, processing, and display
• Experience with DirectX or OpenGL
• Proven experience with software performance optimizations
• Work in a multidisciplinary environment of the surgical robotic system
• Experience in a global company
• Experience in a medical device company

Preferred Skills, Experience & Qualifications

• Experience with MatLab and Python code
• Experience in implementation of ML based algorithms, pre/ post-processing
• Experience in CUDA programming
• Experience with OpenCV
• Experience with GIT
