A Day in the Life
In this position you will be responsible to gain Market share in the Ablation and Neuromodulation therapies business by promoting, selling and servicing Medtronic’s products implement the product marketing plan for assigned products against goals established in the annual operating plan and provide clinical & technical support for medical professionals in Operating rooms and clinics.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Implement quarterly sales plan and achieve sales goals and objectives.
- Maintain knowledge of diverse Medtronic products and support sales efforts in Ablation Business and Neuromodulation Business.
- Analysis of market, customers & business periodically.
- Provide ongoing field intelligence reports on competitive activity, change in markets, distribution, as well as input on customer preferences and product features.
- Maintain adequate inventory (trunk stoke and hospital consignment) and assist in reallocation and delivery of product.
- Understands market landscape, marketing and pricing structure, more influence on pricing structures. Works with sales, marketing and finance to structure complex contracts.
- Works to achieve individual sales targets within product area and/or account by selling products/ services, developing new accounts and/or expanding existing accounts.
- Cooperate with the Ablation, Neuromodulation and pelvic Health team members
- Meet with customer of relevant therapy discipline on regularly basis to assess market’s needs, as well as maintain positive relationship with KOLs.
- Bachelor’s degree in biological science or business, Nursing or life Science, bio medical engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience at medical sales experience in hospital environment and purchasing departments (selling physicians preference product),
- Demonstrable success in previous employment indicating high level of sales performance.
