The Opportunity

We are searching for a Payroll and Accounts Payable Specialist to play a key role in scaling our financial operations, particularly in the global payroll and accounts payable functions. Responsibilities:

• Process Payroll for all Israeli employees
• Ensuring compliance with local tax guidance
• Report to additional institutions such as social security, the IRS, etc.
• Process new employees and employment termination paperwork
• Responsible for full-cycle global accounts payable functions, including
• Enter invoices into the system ensuring accurate department, expense classification, and entity
• Preparing weekly payment runsbatches accurately and timely and ensuring all payments are in accordance with purchasing policies and procedures
• Maintaining organized AP documentation including contacting vendors to obtain necessary documents needed to process invoices and payments, such as W9s, payment/bank details, or other items
• Accurate processing of 1099s annually.
• Report VAT and vendor tax withholding reports to global authorities
  
  

• Experience working with global payroll providers like Shiklulit
• Deep knowledge of Israeli labor laws including, personal income tax legislation, labor code, and social benefits
• 3-5 years of payroll accounting experience in international high-growth technology companies
• High level of English proficiency (writing, reading, and speaking)
• Experience in NetSuite or similar ERP software
• Experience with solutions like: Bill.com, Ramp, Expensify, Mesh, Hibob
