Senior Content Designer

As a Senior Content Designer at Melio, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the content design discipline within our Product Design team. You’ll craft intuitive, engaging, and impactful user experiences, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design content that empowers our users while driving business impact.

You’ll work closely with UX/UI designers to create user journeys that meet SMBs where they are, guiding them seamlessly through our product. Additionally, you’ll help establish systems, guidelines, and workflows that elevate how we work as a team and with our stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a content designer, UX writer, or content strategist, preferably at a product-driven company.
• A user-first mindset with a relentless focus on creating intuitive and delightful experiences.
• A strong portfolio showcasing successful content design projects and their outcomes.
• Native-level English proficiency with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and iterate quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in tools like Figma, Sketch, and Miro.
• Experience writing everything the user experience requires, including navigation items, information architecture, buttons, labels, tooltips, headlines, transactional emails, error messages, dashboards, and more.

A Day in a life and how You’ll Make an Impact:

• Own and execute content design projects across multiple teams, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, researchers, and marketing teams to develop and advocate for Melio’s content strategy.
• Bring your expertise as a writer, strategist, and UX advocate to the design process, ensuring all content meets high standards of clarity, effectiveness, and accessibility.
• Contribute to voice and tone guidelines, content best practices, and workflows to support scalable, user-focused content design.
• Partner with our UX research team to incorporate user insights and data into content strategy and execution.
• Work with fellow content designers and contribute to the content design discipline at Melio.
