About the Role:

In this position, you’ll be at the forefront of incident response and digital forensics, guiding clients through complex cyber breaches and restoring their operational integrity. Your investigative expertise will inform targeted remediation strategies and feed directly into enhancing HackersRange scenarios, ensuring that every training module reflects real-world challenges and lessons learned.

Responsibilities:

• Lead incident response engagements, from initial detection and containment to eradication and recovery.

• Perform thorough digital forensic investigations using industry-standard toolkits (EnCase, FTK, Volatility) to uncover attacker TTPs and breach timelines.

• Produce detailed reports with actionable recommendations for strengthening clients’ defenses against future incidents.

• Contribute forensic insights to HackersRange content, keeping training modules relevant and true-to-life.

• Collaborate with internal Red Teams, Threat Intel, and GRC experts to continuously refine detection and response capabilities.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years in IR, DFIR, or digital forensics roles.

• Deep knowledge of Windows, Linux, and cloud environments.

• Familiarity with SIEM platforms, threat hunting methodologies, and data acquisition tools.

• Certifications like GCFA, GCIH, or CCFP are a plus.
