We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Knowledge Team Leader to oversee and guide a talented team of technical writers and video specialists. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a solid understanding of technical content creation, and a passion for producing high-quality self-service resources. This role combines strategic planning, team management, and hands-on involvement to ensure the delivery of accurate, engaging, and accessible content.

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of technical writers and video specialists to achieve their full potential.
• Foster a collaborative, innovative, and supportive team environment.
• Set clear goals, expectations, and performance metrics for the team.
• Conduct regular one-on-one and team meetings to provide feedback, share updates, and address challenges.
• Encourage professional growth and career development within the team.

Project Management:

• Plan, prioritize, and allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines and business objectives.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

Content Strategy and Quality Assurance:

• Maintain a content strategy that aligns with organizational goals and customer needs.
• Ensure all articles and videos meet high standards for accuracy, clarity, and accessibility.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and product managers to ensure content is technically accurate and up to date.
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of style guides, templates, and best practices.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Partner with product teams, marketing, and customer support to identify content needs and gaps.
• Advocate for the team’s work and ensure alignment with company objectives.
• Stay informed about industry trends and technological advancements to drive innovation in content creation.

Requirements:

• Language: High level of written and verbal English.
• Experience: 3+ years in a leadership role & managing a team, preferably managing technical writers.
• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of technical writing principles and content development workflows.
• Tools Knowledge: Proficiency with knowledge management tools and HTML.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Project Management: Proven experience in managing complex projects with competing deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with Video Creation.
• Knowledge of emerging trends in AI-driven content creation tools.
