What will your job look like?

Engineering

• Design, develop, modify, and integrate complex infrastructure automation and deployment systems.
• Ensure code and configuration are maintainable (IaaC), scalable, and supportable.
• Utilize extensive knowledge of Amdocs products/solutions and technologies to guide infrastructure solutions.
• Follow Amdocs software engineering standards, applicable methodologies (e.g., design-led thinking, DevOps), and release processes.
• Promote system reliability and operability.
• Serve as an expert on specific technologies.
  
  

• Investigate infrastructure issues by reviewing/debugging CI/CD pipelines and runtime environments, providing fixes and workarounds.
• Review changes for operability to maintain existing software solutions.
• Highlight and mitigate technical risks.
  
  

• Serve as a highly specialized Technology/Product expert with high autonomy.
• Provide technical expertise in infrastructure architecture for functional and non-functional aspects.
• Resolve significant and unique problems with high complexity.
  
  

• Guide DevOps engineers in E2E software deployment, maintenance, and lifecycle.
• Enforce and guide technical standards (e.g., tools, platforms).
• Ensure documentation related to the application lifecycle architecture is accurate and up-to-date.
• Enforce quality processes, perform technical root cause analysis, and promote developer autonomy.
  
  

• Promote continuous improvements and efficiencies in the product lifecycle and business processes.
• Utilize and guide the reuse of common tools and innovation techniques.
• Stay updated with new technologies and industry practices.
  
  

• Collaborate and add value through participation in peer reviews, providing comments and suggestions.
• Work with teams to achieve goals and serve as the technical focal point to resolve issues.
  
  

• Contribute to meeting various SLAs and KPIs, such as Responsiveness, Resolution, and Software Quality.
• Ensure tasks are completed on time and delivery timelines are met according to quality targets.
  
  

• Onboard new hires and train them on processes.
• Share knowledge with team members and take an active role in technical mentoring.
• Elevate the team’s knowledge.
  
  

• Proven experience in CI/CD and MS areas, including Configuration Management and continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, BitBucket, Nexus, Artifactory, Maven).
• Experience designing complex solutions based on Automation Tools and Deployment on common cloud platforms (OpenShift, AWS).
• Proficiency with third-party tools and monitoring tools (e.g., Postgres, Cassandra, Helm, Groovy).
• 4-5 years of experience with infrastructure-as-code and configuration-as-code tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Ansible, Terraform).
• 4-5 years of script development experience in common languages (e.g., Python, Groovy, Bash).
• Deep understanding and experience in the DevOps ecosystem and IT operation systems.
• Hands-on experience in building, releasing, deploying, and monitoring cloud-based scalable distributed systems.
• 5-6 years of experience in infrastructure/IT, working in an agile development environment.
• Experience designing and implementing TLS, Load Balancing, and High Availability for cluster/hybrid production environments.
• Daily experience with Kubernetes, including strong troubleshooting skills for deployment issues.
• Comprehensive understanding of ArgoCD options.
• Knowledge of release cycles best practices.
