Head of Scientific Affairs

1.    Non-Dilutive Funding (50%)

• Identify and pursue grant opportunities and collaborative funding sources.
• Develop strategic research plans in collaboration with R&D, Product, BD, and CA/RA teams, as well as external consultants.
• Lead the preparation and submission of grant proposals, coordinating input from internal stakeholders and external experts.

2.    R&D Project Management (50%)

• Work closely with the Chief Scientific Officer to guide and oversee R&D initiatives, including analytical studies, data science efforts, and clinical research projects.
• Ensure timely completion of research milestones and deliverables.
• Prepare progress reports, presentations, and other documentation to communicate R&D advancements internally and to external partners.
• Oversee the development of scientific posters and manuscripts, leading the writing process and engaging other team members as contributors.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., biotechnology, bioengineering, biochemistry, medical sciences).
• Proven track record of peer-reviewed publications in high-impact journals.
• Demonstrated success in securing non-dilutive funding through grants and research initiatives.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
