Job Description

Tactical Buyer Planner focuses on planning, coordinating, controlling inventory in a timely and cost-efficient manner. Ensuring that the end products required are available at the lowest possible cost at the right time & quantity. Avoid material shortages and prevent excess and obsolete inventory.

Manage the availability of material through the proper material master data setup, capacity planning and purchase order management with internal and external suppliers and mitigate in case of supply risks and issues. Manage and create production orders, stock adjustments, 3rd party inventory management.

This position is temporary for 10 months.
Your role:

• Places orders with suppliers and monitors the outstanding order package in terms of delivery time, quality, and price.
• Execute and maintain SCM master data, track orders confirmation, monitors open orders status, expedites if needed and update SAP.
• Inventory analysis, monitoring and Identify material shortage risks at suppliers. Manage the mitigation and involve procurement in case commercial leverage is needed.
• Manages forecast and communication with suppliers, including validation, supplier S&OP meeting.
• Align and balance material planning with production planning.
• Monitor KPI in terms of Inventory and delivery on time.
• Manage return orders to suppliers.
• Interface with supply management, production, and service departments.
  
  

You're the right fit if you have:

• B.Sc in Industrial Engineering or another relevant degree
• 1-2 years related experience working as a Tactical Buyer.
• SAP experience
• Fluent English
  
  

How We Work Together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.

Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
