Backend BI Developer

We are seeking a passionate and highly skilled BI Developer who thrives on working with large volumes of data and enjoys navigating complex business challenges. If you are excited about the world of data and analytics, this role might be perfect for you!

Responsibilities:

• Gather requirements from internal customers and stakeholders.
• Design and plan BI solutions tailored to business needs.
• Debug, monitor, and troubleshoot BI solutions to ensure reliability and performance.
• Write and optimize relational and multidimensional database queries.
• Develop BI and big data tools following best practices and methodologies.
• Implement business requirements into structured, scalable data models.
• Collaborate closely with teams across the organization to translate business needs into actionable data solutions.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as a Backend BI Developer – Must.
• Strong SQL skills, with a proven ability to write and optimize complex queries and procedures. You should have experience working with large datasets and ensuring optimal code performance – Must.
• Basic knowledge of Python – Must.
• Experience in understanding and translating business requirements into technical implementations. This involves collaborating with internal clients (e.g., Marketing, AI, Product) to break down business needs, create data models, and deliver structured solutions – Must.
• Demonstrated expertise in backend-focused development. This role does not involve dashboard creation or front-end tools like Tableau – Must.
• Experience with BI solutions, working with large DWH systems, and building ETL workflows – Advantage.
• Familiarity with Big Data environments and tools such as Hadoop, Vertica, Spark, Iceberg, Kafka, and Airflow – Advantage.
• Prior experience in a web-based product company, particularly in gaming, is a plus – Advantage.
• Strong data architecture and modeling skills are highly desirable – Advantage.
• Fluent in English.
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, industrial engineering, information systems)- big advantage.
