Hardware Engineer

Position Overview

We are looking to extend our hardware team with 2 engineers – Senior Board Designer and Entry-Mid Level H/W engineer. Both roles will play a key part in developing our next top-of-the-line mm-wave radar. In these positions you will be responsible for developing the radar hardware starting from conceptual architecture, through detailed design, testing, integrating and validating all the way up to the transfer to production.

Senior H/W engineer role requires excellent understanding in radar design and technologies and hands-on industry experience in design and bring-up of RF and Digital High speed boards and products.

Junior H/W engineer must have proven experience with debugging and validation of RF, Analog and Digital boards.

Both roles require tight collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Hardware, Firmware, System, Algorithms, Software, and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• B.Sc in Electrical engineering
• Radar systems experience – Major advantage

• Senior: 5+ years industry experience in RF and high-speed digital hardware design with high proficiency in Altium .
• Must have experience in all aspects of hardware design including schematics capture, PCB layout constraint, documentation, bring-up and design validations.
• Must have experience in common interfaces, PCIe, 10GE, DDR4, SPI, I2C, USB, MIPI, UART.
• Excellent knowledge of SI and PI for high-speed designs.
• Excellent knowledge of DC/DC switching power supply including Linear regulators.
• Familiarity with design for compliance/regulatory testing.

• Mid-Level: 2+years experience in RF systems integration and validation
• Hands-on experience with lab prototyping (wiring and soldering).
• Hands-on experience in board debugging and testing (RF, digital and power).
• Experience with lab equipment, logic analyzer, oscilloscope, VNA, thermal chamber.
• Coding skills for data analysis and test equipment automation.
