About the role

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Development Team Lead to take charge of our R&D efforts. Reporting to the CEO, this is a strategic and impactful role where you will shape the technical vision, drive innovation, and deliver scalable solutions aligned with our product and business goals.

As the Dev Team Lead, you'll oversee all aspects of development, guide a talented team, and stay ahead of emerging trends in technology and fintech. If you're passionate about leadership, technical excellence, and creating consumer-centric products, this is the opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities:

Technical leadership:

• Lead architecture decisions and technical direction to our platforms.
• Establish development standards, best practices, and quality metrics. 
• Drive system scalability and performance optimization. 
• Balance technical debt with future delivery. 

Team management:

• Lead and mentor a talented development team 
• Implement effective development processes and technologies.
• Drive code quality and technical excellence throughout reviews and best practices. 
• Oversee sprint planning and delivery. 

Product delivery:

• Work closely with the product team to deliver innovative solutions.
• Ensure robust scalable implementation of features. 
• Drive technical solutions for complex business requirements. 
• Maintain focus on user experience and product quality.    

Development operations:

• Establish efficient development workflows and processes.
• Manage technical resources and development timelines. 
• Maintain documentation and technical specifications.  

Qualifications:

• +5 years of software development experience. 
• Strong hands-on expertise in AWS, Node.js (Nest.js is a plus), and Angular.
• Proven experience in leading development teams and managing technical projects. 
• Strong understanding of architectural patterns and best practices.  
• Experience with agile methodologies and development tools
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.  
• Experience in fintech (payments, integrations, etc.) is a significant advantage.
