C++ Team Lead

An AI company in Tel Aviv is seeking a skilled C++ Team Lead to guide a team of 3-4 engineers in achieving engineering excellence. This role involves building scalable, high-quality software solutions while maintaining a hands-on approach to development. The position is integral to developing and maintaining a real-time agent that collects massive amounts of data from endpoints, leveraging advanced technologies and in-depth knowledge of operating system internals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 3-4 software engineers, fostering technical and professional growth.
• Develop a real-time C++ agent to collect large-scale data from endpoints, incorporating cutting-edge technologies and gaining expertise in OS internals.
• Oversee the full development lifecycle of features, from planning to automation.
• Collaborate with multiple development teams to design and deliver effective solutions.
• Participate in Agile development cycles, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes.
• Balance leadership responsibilities with hands-on coding to drive project success and team excellence.
  
  

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in a team leadership role.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in software development with C++.
• Strong grasp of object-oriented programming principles.
• Proven experience with multi-threaded development.
• Expertise in client development for various operating systems and platforms.
• Comprehensive understanding of Mac, Linux, and Windows OS internals.
• Ability to independently manage features through the full development lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  
  

• Familiarity with Linux Kernel, eBPF, Ftrace, Netlink, Fanotify, and other event-driven Linux frameworks.
• Background in security or cybersecurity is an advantage.
