System Engineer / Technical manager

A global communications company in Netanya is seeking an experienced System Engineer and Technical Manager to oversee technical project management and system-level architecture for precision tracking projects. This role involves collaborating with R&D teams, managing customer-facing technical activities, and ensuring the successful integration and implementation of complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage the technical aspects of precision tracking projects, including planning and monitoring R&D activities, budgets, and timelines.
• Lead technical interactions with customers, including design reviews, acceptance testing, and system integration.
• Define and oversee the system-level architecture of complex systems.
• Develop and manage System, Software, and Hardware specifications and requirements.
• Participate actively in the integration and proof-of-design phases.
• Design and oversee electrical connectivity between Line Replaceable Units (LRUs).
  
  

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
• Master’s degree in System Engineering is an advantage.
  
  

• 5-7 years of experience in multi-disciplinary development projects.
• Proven project management experience across all phases of a project lifecycle.
• Expertise in writing requirements and specifications in English.
• Strong background in complex system architecture design and troubleshooting.
• Open-minded and adaptable with excellent self-learning capabilities.
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to manage matrix teams.
• Fluency in English, including speaking, writing, and reading.
  
  

• Knowledge and experience with SATCOM systems.
• Familiarity with servo and control algorithms, mechanical design, RF communication, and real-time software.
