One of our clients, a leading global provider of innovative airborne solutions, is looking to hire a Sales Engineer to join their sales and marketing team. This company specializes in advanced airborne missile protection systems and airborne surveillance, information, and observation solutions. Privately owned and based in Israel, they pride themselves on their collaborative and innovative culture, valuing each employee’s contribution to their cutting-edge technological products.
Position Overview
As a Sales Engineer, you will use your engineering expertise to engage with potential clients, understand their technical needs, and provide customized product solutions. Your role will be instrumental in driving sales growth and building meaningful relationships within a globally recognized and respected company.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Support: Drive new business opportunities from identification to closure.
- Technical Consultation: Address engineering challenges by recommending tailored solutions.
- Product Demonstrations: Showcase product features and benefits to potential clients.
- Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with the sales team to craft and implement strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends and competitors to identify growth opportunities.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Mechanical, Industrial, or Management Engineering, or a related field.
- Background: Familiarity with aerospace systems and defense products related to aircraft is essential.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of defense systems such as Radar, Sensors, Electro-optics, and SIGINT.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to convey complex technical concepts clearly.
- Sales Experience: Prior experience in sales or customer-facing roles is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze customer needs and provide effective solutions.
- Teamwork: Collaborative mindset, thriving in a team-based environment.
- Travel: Willingness to travel abroad once every 1-2 months.
This role is ideal for a systems engineer or project manager looking to transition into sales and marketing within the defense and aerospace industries.
