Radar System Engineer

A startup company in the Smart Mobility field has developed a product that identifies obstacles on railway tracks using an optical-based LIDAR technology. The company grew out of a project with the aerospace industry and has since become a successful independent company.

The role requires a versatile candidate for an innovative project, involving characterization, simulations, and Hands-On work in field laboratories.

The company’s offices are located in Rehovot, near the train line, and they offer a hybrid work model with one day working from home.

Qualifications-

• B.Sc. in Electrical engineering
• 2-4 years industry experience in radar development
• Proficiency in Matlab and/or Python
• Experience with operating lab test equipment (such as spectrum analyzer & network analyzer)
• Familiarity with radar H/W processes, S/W processes and system processes
• Skills:
• Good communication skills and be able to work with all cross-function teams
• Accountable, independent, highly motivated
• Self-taught, fast learner
